It's a big big sale!!!!

Everything in the WordSmith shop is on sale from NOW until Wednesday, July 8th.  {how to sell} is offered for the lowest price ever (I will echo B&H and Amazon and simply say add to cart to see the price we can't show here, LOL!) and it's the first time it has been on sale since the special introductory price period ended. {what to wear} and {what to write} are also on sale and--BONUS!!!--you may purchase all three and save an additional $15 off the already ridiculous pricing. :)  

If you purchase all three guides, you will receive a $15 refund as soon as I see your purchase.  If more than a day goes by and you somehow do not receive your refund, please alert me.  In most cases the refund will be within an hour or so.

These sale prices are not retroactive and will, once again, end on Wednesday, July 8th.

Another testimonial that made my week!

What a whirlwind of a week!  I have loved hearing such positive feedback from so many of you who purchased {how to sell} during its first week.  I still owe a few folks e-mails, but I'm getting there!! :)  I've heard from photographers who do online sales and could never figure out a clear cut plan of action to raise those sales. They've written to say that they are already well on their way to changing things up and appreciate that the guide contains nitty-gritty information that's not general or nebulous in any way.  I don't hold back, in other words.  I've also heard from those who primarily do in-person sales (which this guide in no way bashes, by the way, but merely provides another alternative!) who are confident that, when they must complete sales online, their order will not suffer as it may have in the past.  Thank you all for writing!

I’m not one to write the manufacturer of a product to gush how great it is.  It’s just not my style.  But I’m writing you to gush about your product because you need to know just how inspiring you are!  (Yes, you made me into one of those darn “product gushers.”)  Your photography, your writing and the content really fills the void for new photogs trying to find their way in this biz.   You hit it out of the ball park with How to Sell!!  I read all 60 pages in one sitting...then read it again!  It was such a relief to see that there IS an alternative to the traditional selling in person/big screen projection band wagon.  I've heard some established photographers describe selling online with a cart as if it were the plague!   You are an inspiring example of “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Your guide was exactly what I needed.  I love it.  

Now, if you'll excuse me...I have to go read the section on the Blog Sneak Peek.  Again.

The kindest words.

WOW! Thank you so much to everyone who has made the {how to sell} guide an instant success!  I appreciate all of you, truly.


About 10 minutes after the guide launched I got a tell-tale scratchy throat--yes, a cold! I think it's my body's way of telling me that, as I perch squarely between my mid- and late-30s (gulp), I need a full night's sleep on a consistent basis to avoid such nuisances. :)  So . . . if you are awaiting an e-mail from me, know that I'm just letting the DayQuil stupor wear off a bit more before fashioning a coherent response to your question.

On the positive side, I have had plenty of time today to read the lovely comments that have already come in about the guide.  My favorite today is from Courtney Miller of Courtney Leigh Photography.  She made my week--or make that month!!  Thank you once again, Courtney! Be sure to check out her lovely work here. I thought I would put up an edited version, but I can't cut one word--love it!!  She writes:

If you are completely happy with your online sales and meet your sales goals 95% of the time, this guide may not be for you.  Likewise, if you offer in-person sales exclusively, you may find this guide less useful. If you find, like many in-person ordering proponents, that you must offer online sales at least part of the time (out-of-town clients, mini-sessions, extenuating circumstances, etc.) then you will find this guide pertinent to you. Photographers--regardless of how they sell--who find it difficult to "sell themselves" and hate feeling like a salesman will also love this guide! Joyce's techniques are low-key and refined yet extremely effective, and apply regardless of the dollar amount your target market can afford to spend (i.e. even though Joyce's business is a low-volume, high end boutique business, the information within the guide applies to all business models). Please note: the guide does not cover every single selling style or scenario under the sun--that would be impossible! It details Joyce's style with an eye toward being applicable to many circumstances. With that said, if you have a question that is not answered in the guide and Joyce can answer it for you via e-mail, she will! :)
